This set is brass with nickel plating, some of the plating has worn off. Set 265: Mid 1930s Waverly strip tuners for solid headstock as were found on some Gibson L-00 guitars. Would look right on a late 60s D-28 or D-35 that has a little wear. Original mounting screws. Pend" marked tuners as were found on the D-28 and D-35 of the late 60s. This set has rather uniform pitting in the plating on every tuner but they are functionally fine. Set 263: Mid to late 1960s Grover rotomatic "Pat. The set has its original mounting screws, the bushings are modern reproductions of the originals.

The tuner button replacements are perfect repros by Blazer and Henkes. The turning ratio is 12:1 and all the tuners turn freely without tight spots or binding and all are tight with no slop in the gear fit or operation. The off-white buttons have been replaced with modern reproduction buttons as the old set was crumbling. The set is in excellent condition with only the slightest surface wear to the plating.

They are in excellent cosmetic and functioning condition. These tuners have a ratio of 12:1 and all turn smoothly with no binding or tight spots. These tuners were found most commonly on 00 and 000-18 style Martins from about the middle of 1968 through the early 70s.
